Rooted in Place: King County Executive Candidate Forum

The King County Equitable Development Initiative (EDI) Coalition is hosting an in-person candidate forum for King County Executive. The event is scheduled for Friday, October 24 from 3-5 pm and it will be held at Highline Community College, Building 8, in the Mt. Constance Room.

Join us to talk with King County candidates about displacement, equitable development, and rooting BIPOC communities in place. Across King County, from SeaTac to Skyway to White Center to the Eastside, displacement pressures are growing. We want to know how our candidates are thinking about curbing the tide of displacement and how they plan to grow resources to permanently steward land by and for BIPOC communities. As displacement grows across King County and as our communities experience increased pressure due to Federal policies, this is a crucial conversation in this election cycle.
