Bellevue Housing Forum: Comprehensive Plan 2044

March 18, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Comprehensive plans represent a major opportunity for cities to envision and subsequently implement major changes. This includes housing: how much, where, what types, what densities, and more.

You’re invited to share feedback at one of three upcoming Bellevue Housing Forums on March 18, 21, and 23. It will be critical that these events have a strong showing of pro-housing people that live, work, and study in the city. We know that these voices are a necessary ingredient to empower elected leaders and staff to make bold and effective choices for growth in the city through the periodic Comprehensive Plan. Input from these events will be used to inform policy and shared with City Council and the Planning Commission.

SIGN UP HERE for one of the three events! We also encourage you to share with others in your network.

Participants will have the opportunity to explore data around the city’s housing needs, ask questions, and engage in small group discussion. In addition to sharing your own experiences with housing, you can support:

  • Housing accessible to jobs and schools.
  • Orienting housing near transit.
  • More, diverse housing options across all of Bellevue’s neighborhoods.
  • Strategies to create housing affordable to those at all income levels, including low-income households.

This will be a drop-in event. People may come at any time and stay for as long as they like.
