Hospitality – Creating Home Together

Come be part of an uplifting and inclusive community gathering centered on Hospitality, a shared human value that transcends cultures and languages.

This Welcoming Week event is hosted by Friends of Bellevue Cross-Cultural Center, in collaboration with the Eastside Baha’i Community and supported by the City of Bellevue. Whether you’re new to the community or have called it home for years, this is a space to connect, reflect, and celebrate the beauty of welcoming one another.  

What to Expect

  • Hospitality in Action: Celebrate the spirit of hospitality through powerful stories of giving and receiving, resilience, and compassion shared by local organizations and community members.
  • Meaningful Conversations: Facilitated by members of the Bahá’í community, these conversations invite us to explore how we can build belonging and unity across diverse backgrounds.
  • Joyful Experiences: Live music and sing-alongs to uplift the spirit
  • Tasty refreshments from local farms and vendors
  • Access to community resources and services
  • Opportunities for connection and collaboration

3:00 PM – Doors open, access to community resources, informal engagement

3:30 – 4:00 PM – Welcome, guest stories, and introductions

4:00 – 5:00 PM – Facilitated conversations on hospitality and unity

5:00 – 6:00 PM – Refreshments and informal mingling
