LWSD School Board Meeting

For agenda and meeting information, see the School Board Meeting Page.  Meetings may end early or run late. Please Note: the Study Session begins at 5pm.

How to View/Attend This Meeting:

1. Watch the livestream on the LWSD website;
2. Watch the recorded video on the LWSD website;
3. Attend in person, which requires registering in advance due to COVID restrictions.  See the guidelines for registering and attending here.

How to Participate During Public Comment:

1. In-person, by registering and attending the meeting (see above)
2. In writing, by emailing the Board by 3pm the day of the meeting
3. Remotely, via Microsoft TEAMS

Types of Meetings:

Each month, the LWSD holds a combination of Study Sessions, Board Meetings, and, possibly, Executive Sessions.

• Study sessions are opportunities for the board to learn more about a specific topic. No decisions are made at study sessions.
• Board Meetings begin at 7pm, include time for public comment, and are the meetings where board votes will happen.
• From time to time, the board will meet in Executive Session, often before or after a business meeting. These sessions are not open to the public. They are limited to specific topics such as personnel matters or acquisition of real estate.
