Eastside Conversations: Connecting Affordable Housing and Community

Join us on Thursday, March 26 from 6:00-7:30 PM at the North Bellevue Community Center (4063 148th Ave NE Bellevue, WA 98007) for an in-person event focused on creating deeper understanding and connecting between affordable housing and the Eastside community. We will share information about the basics of “what affordable housing is an who needs it,” as well as information about how community members can get connected to housing and work together to ensure there is enough housing affordable to us all. This event is open to anyone on the Eastside who is interested in learning more about affordable housing or finding ways to expand affordable housing opportunity in East King County. We will also provide ample time for food, connection, and dialogue about this issue.
This event is hosted by the Eastside Housing Equity Coalition (EHEC) which consists of the following partner organizations: Indian American Community Services, Eastside For All, Muslim Community Network Association, and the Housing Development Consortium. We work together to advocate for housing policies and programs that can begin to undo racial disparities and inequities, with the goal of making housing more affordable and inclusive of community needs.
