Safe Haven Cafecitos Meeting June 17th – Zoom
🌟 Join Us at our Cafecitos on June 17th at 9 am 🌟
Safe Haven is a hyperlocal, informal coalition serving the cities of Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Issaquah, and Sammamish. We warmly welcome community members, partners, and residents to join our monthly Cafecitos meetings.
We invite you to participate in meaningful conversations about community engagement, taking action, and strengthening local connections. Cafecitos provides a welcoming space to share ideas, build relationships, and collaborate on issues that matter to our communities—especially around the actions we can take in our region to support immigrant and refugee communities.
We look forward to connecting with you.

We welcome providers and supporters of Eastside’s immigrant and refugee communities. Join monthly “Cafecitos” meetings to identify advocacy priorities, share information, and collaborate to support local immigrants, asylum seekers, and refugees. Cafecitos is a gathering created by the Safe Haven group, an informal network formed in 2019 that has been involved in advocacy efforts with local school districts and cities to address language justice, cultural supports, and equitable access to opportunities for youth and families. We partner with housing advocates to work on systemic solutions including more affordable housing, tenant rights & protections, and addressing discrimination and bias. (See our Community Safety initiative for more resources to support community members experiencing hate and bias.)
