The community celebration has been hosted by Black leaders and community members in East King County since 2020 with representatives from BAM (Blacks at Microsoft), the Lake WA School District, Eastside For All’s staff and board, local entrepreneurs, educators, artists, and community advocates. DJ AmberLove is a Seattle-based DJ known for curating high-vibe, feel-good experiences that center women, connection, and unforgettable energy. Blending genres with intention, she creates spaces where people feel safe, seen, and free to move.

Gansango Dance & Music

Gansango Music & Dance presents traditional and contemporary dance and music from West Africa – drawing on the stunning talent of multicultural dancers and musicians. Gansango is directed by Etienne Cakpo, originally from Benin and now a choreographer and teacher based in Seattle, Washington.

Soul Line Dancing

Ms. Anna has been teaching Soul Line Dancing for 23 years in the Seattle area. She is the founder and CEO of Steppers Unite Inc. Ms. Anna’s four line dance classes are well attended and full of fun for all ages. Steppers Unite
