The event planning team is led by Commissioner Sheila Stanton (WA State Commission on African American Affairs) and includes Na’eemah Webb (LWSD, Black Grad Coordinator), Dion Butler (BAM: Blacks at Microsoft), James Randolph (Deputy Mayor, Woodinville), Joy Randall (Community Organizer),  Jeane Allison (Business Owner), and Nikayla Rice (Artist, Community Organizer).


The afternoon of community celebrations will include performances and inspirational speakers.
