Bellevue Planning Commission Meeting

The Bellevue Planning Commission meets at 6:30 pm on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month in Conference Room 1E-113 at City Hall (450 110th Ave NE), and is able to be viewed via Zoom (passcode 983801). The agenda for the coming meeting is usually posted on the meeting calendar

Agenda items include:

  • BelRed Look Forward Land Use Code Amendment (agenda memo)
    • Some “amenities” that can earn extra “amenity credits” or bonus points are:
      • Affordable housing beyond the mandatory minimum amount
        • Additional bonus points for housing units that achieve deeper levels of affordability
      • Affordable commercial space, either leased to a “qualified tenant” or dedicated as a commercial condo unit
      • One bonus point = one additional square foot of Floor Area Ratio (FAR) beyond the base amount
  • Downtown Livability 2.0 Land Use Code Amendment (agenda memo and engagement plan)
    • Through the engagement plan, the City is looking for input on some of the following topics:
      • What residents enjoy and don’t enjoy about Downtown
      • Challenges that businesses are facing locating in Downtown
      • Challenges around the Grand Connection
      • What changes to Downtown may have on neighboring areas (both positive and negative)
