Constitutional Observer Training – in person
Do you know what to do if you see ICE in your community?
As immigration enforcement activity has increased on the Eastside, we’ve heard growing concern from residents who want to know how they can respond safely and effectively if they witness an ICE operation.
To help answer those questions, East King RISE developed a Constitutional Observer Training in partnership with Seattle Indivisible and West Seattle Indivisible, with support from WAISN and ACLU-WA.
This free, one-hour training prepares community members to safely and effectively respond if they encounter immigration enforcement activity. Participants learn how to document what they observe, understand the role and limitations of Constitutional Observers, and help ensure that constitutional rights are respected.
