City of Redmond Council Meeting

Redmond Budget Public Hearing

The City of Redmond will have four public hearings for the 2027-2028 biennial budget. These are opportunities for you to share in-person thoughts on how priorities are funded through your tax dollars. The public hearings will be held during City Council business meetings at 7 pm on the following days:

  • Tuesday, September 15
  • Tuesday, October 6
  • Tuesday, October 20
  • Monday, November 2 (special scheduling due to Election Day on November 3)

You can attend meetings in person at City Hall or watch remotely via redmond.gov/rctvlive, @CityofRedmond on Facebook or YouTube, Comcast Channel 21/321, Ziply Channel 34, or listen to the meeting by calling 510-335-7371. Public comments related to each budget hearing can be submitted by email to budget@redmond.gov.

Agendas are posted on the Friday prior to the meeting in the City’s Meeting Information Center. Relevant materials for each budget hearing and deliberation will be included with the agenda items.

The City has also created a survey to see if your priorities are reflected in the budget. The questionnaire is open through Sept. 11 and available at redmond.gov/BudgetQuestionnaire. Learn more about how to get involved in the budget process by visiting redmond.gov/BudgetEngagement.
