Maximum of 20 spaces available per session. This space is curated by and for the Black and Brown community, all are welcome to apply but priority in the space is for BIPOC.
This is also a safe space for 2SLBGTQIA+.
We are here to offer emotional support, raise awareness, connection, and advocacy. Bring your latest art project to work on!
Date : Wednesday April 28th
Time: 6-8 PM
Location: The Together Center in Redmond, WA
RSVP: Immediate accompaniment and material support create trust and demonstrate the effectiveness of community-led protection. As trust grows, community members move from receiving services to shaping strategy: they join Safe Haven meetings, co-design emergency guides, serve as promotoras, and participate in legislative advocacy. The coalition uses incident data and community testimony to push city leaders and school districts for policy changes that reduce harm and expand protections—shifting institutions from reactive responders to accountable partners.
